We’re really sorry, but due to the situation with COVID-19 (Coronavirus) we’ve decided to postpone the 13 Valleys Ultra until 2021.
With the sensible and necessary restrictions that are currently in place and with the high level of disruption over the next few months, we’re not able to properly plan and develop the event as we’d wish. We also rely on partners who will be rightly focussed in other areas and not in the planning of a new event.
We hope you understand our reasoning. We want this new event to be an amazing celebration of the Lake District so we feel it’s the pragmatic and sensible decision to postpone.
If you have entered, we will process a refund of your entry fee. You don’t need to do anything, the money will be credited to the debit or card that was used for payment.
We will be back in touch with a new date in due course.
Be the first to take on the 13 Valleys Ultra, an epic ultra marathon event in the stunning landscape of the Lake District National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
There are three distances – 60km, 100km and 180km – each promising spectacular trail and mountain running over the fells, round the magnificent lakes and waters, and through the unique valleys of the Lake District National Park.
Participants will follow a fully way marked route with regular check points and feed stations to keep fuelled and motivated.
The 13 Valleys Ultra is a hugely exciting concept. Our vision is to create a challenging new ultra that brings both new people to the sport and attracts a world class field to the Lake District.
The route showcases and celebrates the unique landscape of the lakes, and therefore 5% of each entry fee will be donated to the Lake District Foundation to support the National Park.
Whether as a participant, volunteer or supporter, be part of the first ever 13 Valleys Ultra event.
